Vector Foiltec have been building Texlon® ETFE envelopes for over 25 years. The material is unaffected by UV light and atmospheric pollutants. Texlon® ETFE is chemically inert and has an exceptionally long life. The extruded surfaces of the foils are absolutely smooth and actively deter dirt or algae from sticking.

Under the action of rainfall, the external surface self cleanses. This feature, along with Texlon®'s classification as a non-fragile roof assembly, means that external access gantries are not required.

In sandy and dusty environments Texlon®'s low friction coefficient prevents dirt and dust from settling and adhering to the surface.

Internally, Texlon®'s outstanding anti-adhesive properties mean that soiling is minimised with a cleaning cycle between five and ten times longer than an equivalent glass envelope

Unlike conventional cladding systems, thermal and structural movement is accommodated right across the flexible envelope, rather than being concentrated at junctions. This key feature revolutionises cladding design and vastly extends gasket life. Moving parts are minimised and inflation systems are designed to be extremely efficient and long lasting, with only periodic filter replacement required.
