This prestigious shopping centre in the northern Athenian suburb of Maroussi was opened to the public on 25th November 2005.
The project was initiated by Lamda Developments - one of Greece's
leading property developers - as one of only two privately financed
projects for the 2004 Olympic Games. It was originally commissioned as
part of the Media Village but has subsequently been redeveloped as a
shopping destination. The complex features over 58,000sqm of rentable
space including many high profile internationally known retailers such
as Marks and Spencer, Fnac and Village Cinemas.
The project
incorporates a large scale Variable Skin Texlon ETFE roof over the
central atrium areas. Vector Foiltec's patented Variable Skin technology
allows the light transmission through the roof to be varied, either
manually or automatically, to suit the solar shading requirements of the
internal space.
