Notes:

Eden Park Stadium has undergone a complete redevelopment for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Chosen to host the inaugural game between New Zealand and Tonga on Friday 9th September 2011, this is the biggest sporting event in the country’s history and will be watched by millions across the world.

Covering an impressive 9527m2 (total surface area), the Eden Park’s Texlon ETFE façade consists of almost 400 double layer cushions designed to resemble New Zealand’s iconic fern. An integral part of the design is the back-lit Texlon ETFE which has transformed the stadium into a landmark.

Vector Foiltec’s offices in Australia, England, Germany and Brazil, worked closely to design, manufacture and install the Texlon ETFE for this prolific stadium. Exceeding our excellence, Vector Foiltec’s international team realised an unparalleled stadium for a truly global event.
