The cushions are manufactured from two through to five layers of the modified ethylene tetra fluoro ethylene. The material, originally developed for use in the space industry, is now used for many different purposes including use by some major companies across the globe and is used widely as a green roofing solution. This is due to unique features such as not degrading under ultra violet light or atmospheric pollution.

Our Texlon® product due to it’s durability can be used as part of the permanent building envelope. As an additional feature the product can self clean due to its smooth, non-adhesive surface, when Mother Nature sees fit to provide us with rain, making it a great green roofing solution.

Texlon® also combines fantastic light transmission and has a high point of insulation. Each layer has the ability to incorporate different types of solar shading, allowing the designer working on the project to take full advantage of the aesthetic and environmental performance of the building envelope, which is why many use it as a green roofing solution.
