The original building of the Headquarters for the Britannia Building Society was dominated by the uninspiring concrete panel cladding. In undertaking to cover the existing courtyard of the Headquarters for the Britannia Building Society with a Texlon^® ETFE Roof to create an enclosed area for relaxation and dining, Vector Foiltec Ltd also brightened the previously darkened offices, demonstrating Texlon^® ETFE’s excellent ability to bring sunlight in and keep the weather out, creating all year round social spaces.

The Texlon^® ETFE roof is improving cost efficiency and reducing the authority’s carbon footprint. The central atrium provides workers with natural light through the almost 1,000 m² of Texlon® ETFE foil. In addition, the ETFE foil offers climatic control.
