Notes:

Kalahari Aquatic Resort, located in a cold, northern climate, is one of the largest water parks in North America. Open year round, the African Safari themed park contains both indoor and outdoor water attractions, including a 28,000 square foot area covered by a Texlon ETFE cushion roof.

The client wanted to create the warmth of the African jungle in the midst of the wintery climate of Ohio. The Texlon ETFE system allowed the outdoor sunlight in, making a tropical oasis for the sunbathers below. The lightweight structure of the System and ability to span long distances were ideal for the large area over the wave pool.

In addition, Texlon is a stable product that can withstand long exposure to the humid environments of indoor aquatic centers, making it ideal for use in the Kalahari Aquatic Resort.
