Lightweight Transparent Cladding At Vector Foiltec we are leaders in the supply and manufacture of ETFE, using our unique product Texlon® to support building product requirements such as lightweight transparent cladding. Over twenty-five years ago, here at Vector Foiltec, we came up with the unique idea for our product and named it Texlon®. This product has helped revolutionise the building industry in terms of providing a lightweight transparent cladding solution which has been incorporated into many large projects over the years and has featured in the design of major projects that are world renowned such as the National Aquatic Centre in Beijing, China, which was one of the host venues at the 2008 Olympic games. We supplied and helped with the design and build concept for the use of ETFE within these structures and boast an exceptional portfolio of which we are extremely proud. We also undertake the development and support of a large number of research projects situated around the world, due to our level of expertise in ETFE and lightweight transparent cladding. Through sophisticated load analysis and patterning we can engineer Texlon® to virtually any size or shape, allowing designers to make full use of the products’ innate flexibility and creating lightweight transparent cladding of unusual lightness and elegance.
