Size: 181 m²
Date: 2004

Notes:

Architects Wharmby Kozdon, working closely with London Zoo and leading reptile experts, designed this state-of-the-art enclosure for Komodo Dragons at London Zoo.

Komodo Dragons are an endangered species and it was essential to create an environment that closely resembled their natural habitat in order to encourage breeding. The ETFE roof allowed maximum light to enter the space while preserving the thermal insulation of the structure.
