Texlon® ETFE Roof and Light Transmission
Situated in the Province of Monza and Brianza, AcquaWorld is Italy’s first all-year indoor water park. It boasts over one kilometer of slides and more than 12 swimming pools in six individual areas. Furthermore, the park includes Adventure World, Fun World, Relax World, Kids World, Summer World, and Risto World. Therefore, to ensure visitor and employee satisfaction at Aquapark di Concorezzo, we installed a Texlon® ETFE roof with exceptional light transmission properties.
Smart Design Solutions
The complex design by Serving s.r.l.comprises of three inter-leading domes, which are elegantly clad in 2,325 m² of Texlon® ETFE inflated panels. Supported by asymmetrically shaped plywood beams, the glulam structure is fitted together at different sections by secondary supporting beams. The Texlon® ETFE roof incorporates 48 inflated panels with a top fritted layer offering optimal solar shading and exceptional light transmission whilst protecting visitors and employees from the elements.
Our Texlon® ETFE system creates a year-round swimming and entertainment experience at Aquapark di Concorezzo. Not to mention that the feeling of being outdoors generates the most pleasant work environment for all the employees. All in all, this indoor water park is a great place to work and play.
