ETFE Skylights for Wellness
In 2010, Sacramento State University built a new recreation and wellness center, called the WELL. The new building includes Texlon® ETFE skylights in three different areas. They can be found at the entrance lobby, over the basketball courts and and above the rock climbing wall. The WELL has so much to offer the students, faculty, staff and alumni. Some of the activities you will find are fitness, recreation, aquatics, intramural sports, rock wall climbing, classes and even virtual events like video game tournaments.
When it comes to a person’s overall wellness, natural light plays such a vital role. By incorporating Texlon® ETFE throughout the building there is daylight provided by the California sun.
