U.S. Bank Stadium: home of Super Bowl LII, on February 4
On February 4, 2018, U.S. Bank Stadium is the home of Super Bowl LII
In a few short weeks, the biggest game of the NFL season is taking place at U.S. Bank stadium, Super Bowl LII. Shortly after its inception in 2016, U.S. Bank Stadium was chosen to be the 2018 host.
The stadium design as a whole is unique and award winning, with 60% of the roof including Vector Foiltec’s transparent Texlon® ETFE system. This was the first stadium in the U.S. to use such technology, and won’t be the last. The roof at U.S. Bank Stadium, allows sunlight to come in with views to the outside, but simultaneously keeps snow, rain, cold and heat out. We all know how important keeping snow and cold out is this time year, with the aggressive winter’s in Minnesota. Fans from all around will come to see this epic game and will be able to experience a fully enclosed stadium, with an open feel.
