The entrance to the Floriade Exhibition in Venlo is covered by a series of Texlon® ETFE canopies. Vector Foiltec worked closely with architects to create an undulating roof with a feeling of being neither inside nor outside, much like a greenhouse.

The lightweight and airy nature of Texlon® ETFE was inspired by and used to evoke a resemblance to trees and the way in which they move . At just 1% of the weight of glass, Texlon® ETFE was the ideal choice for this design. As one of the most ecological and sustainable materials available, Texlon® ETFE is fully recyclable and posseses self-cleaning properties. Vector Foiltec reached the sustainability targets set by the client with great ease as Texlon® ETFE is the most suitable material for this project in terms of monitary efficiency and environmental awareness.
