Canopy for the West Plaza at Singapore Sports Hub
A huge open space exist between National Stadium, Kallang Wave Mall and Singapore Indoor Stadium; potential event space and a thoroughfare for people moving between both stadiums. The Consultants foresaw the need to shelter that space and Vector Foiltec was awarded for the canopy.
Clear-span for the OCBC Square
Our cleverly designed solution enabled column-free space to 55-meter clear-span; an engineering feat! Also, not only were the parts of the steel structure designed within transportation constraints, they were also sized for efficient installation and lift. Discreet connections between our Texlon® ETFE further lends a linear and uninterrupted flow to the bottom of the canopy.
Now, events of all nature makes use of that space with a 4,000 m² Texlon® ETFE canopy to enhance visitor experience.
