Victoria Street Refurbishment

123 Victoria Street is a stunning refurbishment project in the heart of London’s Victoria Street. Sustainable design was central to this refurbishment project, by Aukett Fitzroy Robinson. By reusing the existing structure the embedded carbon footprint of the building was minimized compared to what it would have been with equivalent new build construction.

Atrium with High Insulation Properties

The printed three layer Texlon^® ETFE cladding, with its high insulation properties, covers the atrium making a positive contribution to the carbon footprint of the building. The Texlon^® ETFE system allows high levels of light transmission entering the building whilst minimizing heat gain. This allows natural daylight into the building and reduces artificial lighting requirements, therefore minimizing energy use.

Refurbished to Create Versatile Space

This transparency also creates an airy and spacious environment, which fits in with the design concept of the building. This building has been refurbished to create versatile spaces and allows occupants to configure individual working environments to suit their businesses.
