Transparency That is Safe and Secure

Individual Texlon® ETFE panels can be patterned to virtually any shape or size to create individual and stunning venues. This feature is combined with exceptional durability, transparency and low maintenance. Therefore, Texlon® ETFE cladding was the natural choice to cover the stunning atrium at the New Campus East. The large panel sizes allowed for a reduction in the supporting steel. This was accomplished while still considering the exceptional design loads. The barrel vaulted ETFE roof is a testament to the flexibility in ETFE roof design. In addition, the roof also met the stringent criteria brought forth with the construction of buildings in the high security governmental sector.

Sustainability

We pride ourselves on being the only Texlon® ETFE manufacturer with an independently verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in accordance with ISO 14025:2006 and EN15804. An EPD is a voluntary document which focuses on the environmental impacts associated with the manufacturing of a product or system. It demonstrates that a product has been subjected to rigorous testing, therefore ensuring quality. As a result, the atrium roof contributed to the LEED Gold rating of this building. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is the largest LEED Gold certified federal building in the world.
