Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA): inauguration of the new passenger terminal with Texlon ETFE

President Rodrigo Duterte led the inauguration of the new passenger terminal at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) – and the ceremony took also place under the Texlon® ETFE which covers the drop-off canopy and the connection bridge.

Higher capacity

The new Terminal will bring Cebu airport’s capacity from 4.5M to 12.5M per year. The airport is one of the busiest airports in the Philippines.

Vector Foiltec’s scope of work

Vector Foiltec’s scope of work includes the design, supply and installation of a 3600 m2, two-layer Texlon® ETFE system.
